The Student Success Center will support flexible use spaces for study and tutoring, arts presentation, informal gathering, and student involvement. It will also provide offices for student success, including study abroad, service learning, sports and clubs, career counseling, and internship support. Moreover, the SSC will be the center of OSU-C’s display of their support for a diverse campus where individuals from all backgrounds are welcome and comfortable. The building will cover a total of 15,000 sf.

For the SSC, in partnership with AB Cultural Drivers and Colloqate, I led a collaborative process where engagement has been a living and evolving component of the project timeline, lasting over a year. A core group of ten students from marginalized backgrounds has been hired to provide feedback throughout the design process. As part of the design team, l also supported the translation of feedback into design solutions and the creation of schematic design that reflect the voices of students and community members.
